- Where did my note go?
- Nowhere. Tap the faded dot in the corner. Everything you have ever written is there, as a field of color, searchable by word, by date, or by tapping a color. swach hides the past on purpose. It does not throw it away.
- How do I make a list?
- You cannot, and that is the product. swach holds one thought at a time. If you want lists, projects and priorities, you already own an app that has them and it is better at that than we would be.
- It read the time wrong.
- Tap the chip under the line to correct it before you save. If a phrase you use often is misread, send us the exact words. Every phrasing anyone reports becomes a test case, so it cannot break again.
- Why does it show 24 hour time?
- It follows your device by default. Settings, Clock, lets you pin it to 12 hour or 24 hour instead. It changes only how times are shown. swach understands 9 pm and 21:00 either way.
- A reminder did not arrive.
- Check that notifications are allowed for swach in the system settings, and that Focus or Do Not Disturb was not on. swach hands the reminder to your device's own alarm system and the system delivers it. We schedule; we cannot deliver.
- My notes are not on my other device.
- Three things have to be true. iCloud sync is part of the one time purchase, so it needs to be bought on each device you want it on. Both devices need to be signed in to the same Apple Account. And iCloud Drive needs to be on, because sync is your iCloud and not our server, so if iCloud is off there is nothing to sync through. Export and import work on every device, paid or not.
- What happens when I reach three?
- The field keeps accepting what you type. The cursor is never blocked. When you press return, swach offers the one time purchase with your three reminders visible behind it. Marking one done does not give the slot back, so three is three for good rather than three at a time. Every color is yours before you pay: all four palettes and all three hundred and seven ship in the free app.
- I bought it on my iPhone. Why is the Mac app asking again?
- They are separate purchases, priced separately, and we say so on the front page before you buy. iCloud sync comes with each purchase, so notes flow between the devices you have bought. A device still on the free app keeps its notes to itself, and export and import move them by hand at any time.
- Where is the icon picker on the Mac?
- There is not one. macOS has no way for an app to change its own icon while it is installed. The Mac wears the primary icon and that is a platform limit, not a decision.
- How do I get my notes out?
- Settings, Export. It writes a file you can open and read yourself, on every platform. Import takes the same file back.
- Can I delete everything?
- Yes. Settings has a delete all, and deleting the app removes the local copy. To clear the iCloud copy as well, use the delete all before you remove the app.
